Developing Tomorrow’s Talent: The Virginia Plan for Higher Education was developed over a one-year planning process with input from internal and external stakeholders along the way. SCHEV’s intent was to ensure all Virginians could see themselves represented in this plan. In seeking input from the Commonwealth, it was clear that talent was the top concern. Therefore, The Virginia Plan includes significant emphasis on talent development and retention. There were several other emergent themes that were organized into three supporting goals: Ready, Responsive and Relevant. In the plan you will also find objectives and strategies to achieve the plan’s goals over the next six years.
