ADVISORY: SCHEV Council to meet January 13 in Richmond

RICHMOND — The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will hold its regularly scheduled meeting January 13 at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

An education session on national enrollment trends is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The full Council meets from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Bret Danilowicz, president of Radford University, will present remarks.

Topics include action on enrollment projections, 2025 degrees and certificates awarded, proposed degree programs and a mission statement change at public institutions, and passport and uniform certificate policy. Council will discuss program productivity policy, the pathways project, the Governor’s introduced budget and the 2026 General Assembly session. In addition, Council will receive an update on the Pell Initiative.
