RICHMOND —The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) has rescheduled its regular business meeting, which was cancelled due to Superstorm Sandy, for Monday, November 19 from 12:30 – 2:30 pm in SCHEV’s main conference room on the 9th floor of the James Monroe Building at 101 North 14th Street in Richmond, Virginia. Following remarks from John Downey, President of Blue Ridge Community College, Council members will discuss the enrollment projection process for 2014-2020.

Additionally, the Council will take action on agenda items considered during the Budget Recommendations Task Force meeting, which will be held on November 19 from 10:00 – 11:30 am in the VCCS Godwin-Hamel Board Room on the 15th floor of the Monroe Building. Topics include the 2012-14 systemwide operating and maintenance reserve budget amendments, institutional performance measures, and Higher Education Advisory Committee recommendations.

Council members will also take action on agenda items from the Academic Affairs Committee meeting, which will be held concurrently on November 19 from 10:00 – 11:30 am in SCHEV’s main conference room, including certifying two postsecondary institutions, Assured Training and Morrison Dental Assistant School, to operate in Virginia.
