SCHEV Asks College Students about Out-of-State Enrollment
and the
Impact of the Economy on Graduating Seniors
RICHMOND — The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will host a panel presentation on April 19 at 2:00 p.m. where members of the agency’s Student Advisory Committee will express their views regarding two timely topics in higher education.
WHO: Members of SCHEV’s Student Advisory Committee, an advisory council consisting of students from 2- and 4-year public and private colleges and universities in the Commonwealth.
WHEN: Monday, April 19, 2010 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

WHAT: Student Advisory Committee representatives will discuss the impact of out-of-state enrollment on their campuses, including the benefits of interacting with peers from other states, as well as monetary and emotional considerations. Students will also discuss the impact of the economy on their future plans. Panelists will respond to questions submitted to the moderator before taking questions and comments from the audience.
All members of the media, including photographers, are invited to attend.
