Mary C. Haddad
Mary C. Haddad is President and Co-founder of the Louis and Mary Haddad Foundation. The primary focus of the Louis and Mary Haddad Foundation is empowering those in need through education. Mrs. Haddad has served as Vice-rector at Old Dominion University, Secretary of The Family & Children’s Trust Fund, and on the Governor’s Task Force on Cervical Cancer. She has been the General Coordinator of an award-winning community-built playground, chaired the American Heart Association in her area, and co-chaired both the Heart Ball and the Children’s Hospital Ball. She has been a Senior Marketing Representative and vice president at a large development firm. Mrs. Haddad graduated from Hampton University with a degree in General Education concentrating in History and Business, summa cum laude. Mary currently attends Gonzaga University for a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership with a certification in Servant Leadership. She anticipates earning her M.A. in December, 2013.
Awards include Local Hero from Bank of America, Humanitarian from National Committee for Community and Justice, Safe Harbor from Programs and Places for Children, Woman of the Year from Hampton Roads Youth Center, Volunteer Achievement Honorary from Volunteer Hampton Roads, Chairman’s Award from Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer and Community Service Award from Outstanding Professional Women of Hampton Roads, and others.
Mrs. Haddad and her husband enjoy both the pastoral countryside of Suffolk and the vibrancy of Virginia Beach. They have four children.
