SCHEV to Consider Recommendations Related to TJ21
RICHMOND — On Monday, November 14, the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will hold a meeting from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm in SCHEV’s main conference room on the ninth floor of the James Monroe Building at 101 North 14th Street in Richmond, Virginia.
As required by the Code of Virginia, Council members will take action on SCHEV recommendations related to the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2011, also known as the Top Jobs for the 21st Century (TJ21) legislation. SCHEV also will consider recommendations for construction of new auxiliary enterprise facilities at community colleges.
SCHEV is the Commonwealth’s coordinating body for Virginia’s system of higher education. The agency provides policy guidance and budget recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly, and is a resource for information on higher education issues.
