SCHEV Student Advisory Committee Panelists to
Discuss Global Competition and International Education

RICHMONDThe State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) will host a panel presentation on April 22 at 2:00 p.m. where student representatives appointed to the agency’s Student Advisory Committee will address questions on global competitiveness and international education.

WHO:  Members of SCHEV’s Student Advisory Committee, an advisory council consisting of full-time students from the 2- and 4-year public colleges and universities in the Commonwealth.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

WHAT:Student Advisory Committee representatives will discuss how their campuses are responding to global competition and reflect on the importance of international awareness as part of the Virginia higher education experience. Panelists will respond to questions submitted to the moderator before taking questions and comments from the audience.

All members of the media, including photographers, are invited to attend.
