Most colleges require that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year to be considered for any type of financial aid.
Make sure you update your FAFSA school codes, especially if you are transferring to a new school
Review your Student Aid Report (SAR) for errors
Always keep record of your PIN (Personal Identification Number)
Print your FAFSA application confirmation page for your records
Continue to check your email for financial aid requests – you might be asked to submit additional documents for verification purposes
